The best resident research article presented at each Saudi ORL Society annual conference receives the Dr. Saad Asiri Award.

The resident’s competition is a component of the society’s annual conference. All GCC citizens who submit one (1) paper within the period for abstract submission are eligible to participate in this competition. Paper submitted later than allowed won’t be accepted.

The conference organizers designate a panel of judges to assess the papers presented during the conference. The candidates will have an advantage if the submission comes with a complete text paper.

Dr. Asiri also presented awards to five students who took part in and gave presentations at the previous SORL conference in Riyadh. The judging standards are the same as for the residents competition. The top 5 students who will speak at the conference in Madina will get the same awards.
